Every Sunday, we meet here at the Sanctuary — a space to pause, breathe, and share four small reflections that help us reset and prepare for the week ahead. These aren’t grand gestures or perfect affirmations; they’re honest check‑ins, the kind that remind us we’re human and still growing.

Below are my four for this week. I’d love for you to share yours too — because this space isn’t just mine, it’s ours.

This Week’s Sunday Sanctuary Ritual

🌼 One Thing I’m Grateful For

This week, I’m grateful for alone time — those quiet hours where I can hermit away and find solace in the usual noise of my life and my brain. I’m learning how to quiet my mind, and it’s a strange kind of peace I didn’t know I needed.

🍃 One Thing I’m Releasing

I’m releasing the darkness that’s been hanging around lately. The heaviness, the sadness, the fog that makes everything feel harder than it should. I’m choosing to let it go — or at least loosen my grip — because I deserve light too.

🌙 One Thing I’m Looking Forward To

I’m looking forward to relaxing today for Mother’s Day and delivering baked goods to my mom and a few other special moms in my life. There’s something healing about sharing sweetness — both in food and in love.

One Moment of Calm

My moment of calm this week was baking. Measuring, mixing, waiting — it’s my kind of therapy. And sharing those warm treats with people I love reminded me that joy doesn’t have to be loud to be real.

💛 Closing Thoughts

This week, I’m reminding myself that healing doesn’t always look graceful. Sometimes it’s messy, sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it’s just showing up here — tired but willing.

If you’re reading this and carrying something heavy, I hope you find a small piece of calm today. Maybe it’s in your coffee, your kitchen, or your own version of this ritual.

Take what you need from this sanctuary, and when you can, pour a little back in. We’re building this space together — one honest Sunday at a time.
