Every Sunday, we meet here at the Sanctuary ā a space to pause, breathe, and share four small reflections that help us reset and prepare for the week ahead. These arenāt grand gestures or perfect affirmations; theyāre honest checkāins, the kind that remind us weāre human and still growing.
Below are my four for this week. Iād love for you to share yours too ā because this space isnāt just mine, itās ours.
⨠This Weekās Sunday Sanctuary Ritual
š¼ One Thing Iām Grateful For
This week, Iām grateful for alone time ā those quiet hours where I can hermit away and find solace in the usual noise of my life and my brain. Iām learning how to quiet my mind, and itās a strange kind of peace I didnāt know I needed.
š One Thing Iām Releasing
Iām releasing the darkness thatās been hanging around lately. The heaviness, the sadness, the fog that makes everything feel harder than it should. Iām choosing to let it go ā or at least loosen my grip ā because I deserve light too.
š One Thing Iām Looking Forward To
Iām looking forward to relaxing today for Motherās Day and delivering baked goods to my mom and a few other special moms in my life. Thereās something healing about sharing sweetness ā both in food and in love.
ā One Moment of Calm
My moment of calm this week was baking. Measuring, mixing, waiting ā itās my kind of therapy. And sharing those warm treats with people I love reminded me that joy doesnāt have to be loud to be real.
š Closing Thoughts
This week, Iām reminding myself that healing doesnāt always look graceful. Sometimes itās messy, sometimes itās quiet, and sometimes itās just showing up here ā tired but willing.
If youāre reading this and carrying something heavy, I hope you find a small piece of calm today. Maybe itās in your coffee, your kitchen, or your own version of this ritual.
Take what you need from this sanctuary, and when you can, pour a little back in. Weāre building this space together ā one honest Sunday at a time.
